Technology 'extremely important' to 51% of advisers

The overwhelming majority of advisers believe technology is a key component in the quest to provide affordable financial advice, an exclusive poll has revealed.

Some 51% of advisers polled thought technology was extremely important while 40% thought it was important when trying to provide affordable advice.  Just 4% were non-committal on the question and only 3% thought it was unimportant. The poll question was asked during a Professional Adviser web-seminar, held in association with IRESS, on 6 October.
