Just one in four millennials are putting money into a pension while almost half who do save use cash ISAs, research has found.
Data from online investment platform rplan also showed 29% of people dubbed millennials - born between the early 1980s to the early 2000s - are saving using investment ISAs. However, it also showed a third are not saving anything each month. The proportion of 18 to 24-year-olds saving into a pension is just 12% but this rises to 28% among 25 to 34-year-olds, the research said.
