Charles Stanley's head of investment management Anthony Scott has stepped down from the board of directors after 17 years at the firm.
In a trading update for the 12 months to 31 March 2016, the firm said Scott (pictured) has given his resignation with immediate effect but will continue in the company's employment for a further period. Scott joined Charles Stanley in June 1999 and was appointed to the board in 2012. He has worked as the firm's head of investment management and as an executive director since 2014. Meanwhile, the 12 month update showed total funds under management had declined 3.8% from £21.3bn a year ago to £20.5bn, while total revenues decreased by 5.4% from £149m to £141m, thanks to a decline i...
