Vanguard has launched its first active funds for the UK market, partnering up with Baillie Gifford, Wellington Management, Oaktree Capital Management and Pzena Investment Management.
The first offerings are UK-domiciled and include two investing in global equities, one in emerging markets equities and one comprising of a mixture of global equities and fixed income. The funds are managed by a range of external sub-advisers appointed by Vanguard, including Wellington Management, Baillie Gifford, Oaktree and Pzena Investment Management while Vanguard's Quantitative Equity Group (QEG) will also co-manage one of the funds.
