Emerging market equities would be the first-choice asset class for almost half (49%) of advisers on a 12-month view, according to research by Baring Asset Management.
This compare with just a quarter (25%) of advisers who chose US equities ahead of emerging market opportunities and the two-fifths (41%) who put UK equities first in terms of 12-month opportunities. Participants could choose multiple markets as their preferred choice, which is why the percentage total adds up to more than 100.
