Two-thirds (64%) of advisers believe Brexit will have a positive or no impact at all on their business or clients, according to Russell Investments research.

The fund manager surveyed 95 advisers during July on their Brexit opinions and found about a third (36%) were concerned the result of the referendum would have a negative effect on their work. Regionally, London and Scotland-based advisers were the most negative on the outcome, at 34% and 31% respectively. This compared to a quarter (25%) in Birmingham. The firm said its online polling gave a different picture with 55% of votes cast for a negative outlook.
