Lewis Chambers joins consolidator

Maidenhead-based IFA Lewis Chambers has joined Succession Group, adding £200m of funds to the adviser consolidator's books.

Succession takes on firms as members before acquiring them once they have fully integrated with the company. The group secured a £25m funding package from HSBC and private equity backers to support its expansion in June. It plans to acquire 50 firms from its affiliated membership by the end of 2017 and has so far taken on 25 firms. Lewis Chambers has about 400 clients and generates a turnover of £2m.
