The Private Office ups London presence with PQR acquisition

‘Platform for further growth' - TPO

Leeds-based wealth management company The Private Office (TPO) has acquired London financial planner PQR Financial Planning in a cash and equity deal that sees its funds under management boosted by a third.

TPO, which was founded in Leeds in 2008 and launched its London base in 2013, acts for more than 900 clients and has 56 staff, including 17 advisers, and around £750m in funds under management. City-based PQR, which was founded in 2003, has 23 staff, including 11 advisers, and about £250m in funds under management. The firm's two London offices will trade as TPO and PQR, Part of the TPO Group, before consolidating into PQR's existing offices in Victoria from January.
