IRESS boosts XPlan Mortgage system with protection module

IRESS has boosted its XPLAN Mortgage system with the addition of a 'Protection Sourcing' module as the technology provider looks to streamline further the end-to-end mortgage sales process for advisers and their clients.

The new module provides protection sourcing via IRESS's The Exchange and will enable single factfind data capture, multiple product sourcing and total cost summary along with one-click creation and the storage of KFDs and provider documents. Extra functionality has also been added to the system's ‘Mortgage Sourcing' module, providing intermediaries with the facility to compare second-charge options when undertaking remortgage searches without having to key in information separately.
