Investment Association chair Helena Morrissey is to leave the role next summer, Professional Adviser's sister publication Investment Week understands.
Morrissey joined the organisation in 2014 and was the first chair following the organisation's rebrand from the Investment Management Association, alongside Daniel Godfrey as chief executive. During her tenure, she has participated in an IA working group on company pay which was completed this summer and made 10 recommendations on how remuneration could be improved. Morrissey also stepped down from her post as chief executive at Newton Investment Management in August after 15 years to take up a non exec chairman role.
