The Personal Finance Society (PFS) is readying 88 aspiring financial advisers to start its new financial adviser development programme after receiving more than 300 applications in the five weeks since its launch.
The 88 individuals, which are based across Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham and London, are set to start training in the first half of this year with the first cohort beginning in March and four more peer groups commencing the programme in May, the PFS said. The Aspire programme seeks to help employers put advisers-to-be through an 18-month structured training programme to give them the skills to take all six R01-06 diploma exams and help them become fully qualified financial advisers.
