Which managers made it into FE's Hall of Fame for first time?

10 new names make debuts

Troy Asset Management's Francis Brooke, Lindsell Train's Nick Train and Fidelity's Alex Wright are among the new entrants in FE's 2017 Alpha Managers Hall of Fame.

The prestigious list, which houses managers who have consistently received an FE Alpha rating over the past seven years, now hosts 42 names, with ten new entrants in 2017. Train, Brooke and Wright join the list for the first time, while BlackRock's Alister Hibbert, Jupiter's Guy de Blonay and two Ruffer managers are also making their debut (see table, below). Meanwhile, over half the managers in the Hall of Fame - which represents approximately 2% of the UK asset management industry - have retained their seat for the third year in a row.
