'Rising to the challenge'

Aisa Professional, Central Wealth Planning, Mazars and Rowley Turton emerged as the four regional winners of the Best Individual Pension Firm accolade at the 2017 Retirement Planner Awards while Lonsdale Services scooped the inaugural Outstanding Customer Care Award.

Simon Walshe of Chase de Vere and Sebastian Hurst of Plutus Wealth Management were meanwhile recognised as the two regional Young Retirement Planners of the Year - an award introduced to recognise the efforts of by advisory firms to encourage younger advisers to focus on retirement advice. Chaired by Deborah Benn, the judging panel comprised financial services and retirement specialist Nigel Barlow, Jane Finnerty, joint chair of the Society of Later Life Advisers, Lawrence Gosling, group editorial director of Incisive Media, Chris Hannant, director general of the Association of Professio...
