Stephanie Flanders to leave JPMAM in October

J. P. Morgan Asset Management's chief market strategist Stephanie Flanders will leave the company later this year to lead a new economics desk at Bloomberg.

The former journalist has worked at JPMAM since 2013, covering UK and European markets, but will leave her role in October to return to journalism.  Tweeting the news, she stated she was "excited to return to journalism" to lead a "world-beating team of economists and economics reporters". A memo from Bloomberg's editor-in-chief, John Micklethwait, said Flanders will lead a 120-strong team called Bloomberg Economics, according to Financial News.
