Follows govt confirmation of cold-calling ban

Pension websites carrying anti-scam messages could be fraudsters in disguise, The Pensions Regulator (TPR) has warned.

TPR said it was concerned scam websites were targeting vulnerable pension savers, or those with limited pensions knowledge, pretending to be legitimate sites. The warning came after a number of suspicious websites were referred to the regulator. TPR said one tactic used by the fraudsters was to use anti-scam campaign material without consent from multi-agency taskforce Project Bloom.
