Fintech provider IRESS has launched a free audit service for advisers to assess their business propositions and identify where efficiency can be improved through the use of technology.

For the first part of the service, the adviser and an IRESS consultant will work through an hour-long questionnaire, using seven business areas to identify potential proposition gaps. The questions assess what IRESS has identified to be the main areas where efficiency gains can be found, including the factfinding process; sales aids; quotation and new business processes; back office; compliance and business practice; management information; client portal; and digital services.
