Investment ratings and research provider FE has launched a risk-profiling tool to assist advisers with their suitability requirements and assessing their clients' attitudes to risk.

The tool consists of a client attitude to risk questionnaire, an investment mapping tool and a final report. The client attitude to risk questionnaire is powered by EValue. It is intended to help advisers understand a client's capacity for loss and compare different outcomes, to confirm the suitability of the chosen risk profile. The investment mapping component, meanwhile, uses the new FE risk score bandings help to match investment solutions with the most suitable risk profile.
