Gender pay gap at Tenet revealed

Less than a third of top paid employees are women

Advice firm Tenet Group was among financial services businesses to have published gender pay gap figures, revealing fewer women in senior positions and as a result, average lower hourly pay.

According to figures published on the gov.uk website, women made up just less than a third (32%) of Tenet's top quartile employees and about half (49%) of its upper middle quartile employees. Meanwhile, two-thirds (66%) of its lower-middle quartile employees and nearly three-quarters (72%) of the firm's lower quartile were female. Average hourly pay for women at Tenet was more than a quarter (28%) lower than men.
