Old Mutual Wealth 'pauses' free TVAS service

Old Mutual Wealth has become the second provider in 24 hours to 'pause' its free Transfer Value Analysis (TVAS) service offered to advisers following the FCA's latest policy statement concerning DB transfers.

The provider said it would complete all requests that have already been submitted, while any requests for re-quotes must be submitted by 6 April. Old Mutual Wealth managing director of UK distribution Scott Goodsir said: "Following the FCA policy paper we are pausing our TVAS service as we review the detail.We recognise that there is a high demand for this service and so we are looking at how we can continue to support customers and advisers going forwards."  Old Mutual Wealth is the second provider to stop offering a free TVAS service after it emerged on Wednesday that Standard Life ...
