Former hedge fund managers launch 'next gen' online wealth manager

Former hedge fund managers Ian Cadby and Jonathan Wauton have launched 'next generation' online wealth manager Tiller.

The founders said the offering represents a "leap forward" from the first generation of online wealth managers by offering actively managed funds and themed investment baskets alongside lower-cost passive investment products.  Tiller is aimed at private investors as well as offering a white-label option to institutional partners including financial advisers, asset managers, insurers and private banks, with the firm expecting the business-to-business segment to make up three-quarters of its activity.  Tiller - which requires a minimum investment of £10,000 and claims an account could b...
