Former hedge fund managers Ian Cadby and Jonathan Wauton have launched 'next generation' online wealth manager Tiller.
The founders said the offering represents a "leap forward" from the first generation of online wealth managers by offering actively managed funds and themed investment baskets alongside lower-cost passive investment products. Tiller is aimed at private investors as well as offering a white-label option to institutional partners including financial advisers, asset managers, insurers and private banks, with the firm expecting the business-to-business segment to make up three-quarters of its activity.
