Waverton launches real assets fund

Waverton Investment Management has expanded its range with the launch of a real assets fund.

The Waverton Real Assets fund will target a return of +4% above consumer price inflation (CPI) over the medium to long term. UCITS compliant, the fund will be run by portfolio managers James Mee and Luke Hyde-Smith, who joined from Brompton Asset Management in February 2017. It will look to offer investors uncorrelated returns to the equity and bond markets by investing in five broad real asset classes; property, infrastructure, asset finance, commodities and specialist lending.
