Sanlam UK acquires Newcastle-based IFA

Adds more than 1000 clients

Sanlam UK has acquired Newcastle-based IFA and employee benefits firm Blackett Walker for an undisclosed fee.

As well as providing financial advice across the North of England, Blackett Walker is also a leader in providing specialist long-term financial planning for medical professionals, according to Sanlam. The company was founded in 1994 by current directors Richard Blackett and Kevin Walker. The business has since grown to a team of five financial advisers that services a client base of more than 1,000.
