The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) will host two events in Port Talbot for former members of the British Steel Pension Scheme (BSPS).
The sessions were designed to provide information for those who hold concerns about advice they received when they transferred out of the pension scheme. The regulator said it is concerned some members who transferred out of the BSPS "may have received unsuitable advice". The two events will be held on 21 August and 5 September at the Princess Royal Theatre in Port Talbot, Wales. The Financial Ombudsman Service, the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) and the Money and Pensions Service will also be in attendance.
