PFS partners with charity to provide advice to armed forces

The Personal Finance Society's initiative that offers free financial guidance to armed forces personnel and veterans has been granted affiliate membership of the Confederation of Forces Charities (Cobseo).

The PFS's Forces MoneyPlan was launched in 2017 to offer free financial guidance to those who were serving or had served in the military. The professional body said the new partnership would help to support the six million people and their dependants within the armed forces that Cobseo currently helps to represent. Membership of Cobseo is only open to charities or other organisations with a "primary purpose" to help with the welfare and interests of the armed forces community.
