Advisers optimistic on year ahead in spite of Covid-19 - Standard Life

96% optimistic about next 12 months

Advisers remain upbeat about their firm’s potential over the next 12 months despite the coronavirus pandemic and resulting economic downturn, according to a Standard Life survey.

The provider's bi-annual adviser survey found 96% are optimistic about their firm's future prospects and 95% are upbeat on the security of their job in the coming year. Some 85% on the 250 advisers polled in May and June said they were positive about new business prospects and taking on new clients during the year ahead. Two-thirds (67%) were positive about the economic outlook post-lockdown, with many saying they had made a shift to digital as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic measures.
