Kate Jones named next PPF chair as Wagner steps down

Jones takes on the brief after five years on the board, serving and chairing committees

Kate Jones has been appointed chair of the Pension Protection Fund (PPF), taking over from Arnold Wagner who leaves office next week.

Jones has been on the compensation scheme's board since February 2016, and serves as chair of the investment committee and chair of the decision committee. She also serves as a member on its risk and audit committee, and reconsideration committee, and is non-executive chair at JP Morgan Funds and trustee chair at RedSTART. Her appointment was confirmed by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) today.
