Perspective makes seventh acquisition of 2021 with Wiltshire-based Avon

National financial planning business Perspective Financial Group has acquired Wiltshire-based Avon Financial Advisers for an undisclosed fee.

The deal, which marks the group's seventh acquisition of the year, adds 240 clients and £42m assets under management (AUM) to Perspective. So far this year the consolidator has added £642m AUM across its seven acquisitions, along with some 1,780 clients. Stephen Cook, who founded Avon in 2011, will retire, while the business will become part of Perspective's Marlborough office. Cook said: "After just over 45 years in the financial services industry, of which 34 have been spent as a financial adviser, I have decided now is the right time for me to retire."
