The industry lacks confidence that the pensions dashboard will be delivered as pledged by the 2023 expected date, according to the Pensions Management Institute (PMI).
While 56% of industry respondents to a PMI Pulse survey said they believed their scheme or one they advise would be able to provide the data by 2023, 78% said they were not confident about the delivery date. Another third of respondents said they doubt they would be able to provide the data needed for the dashboard within the two-year timeframe, with many citing resources and cost as the main obstacle to meeting the deadline at 51% and 46% respectively.
