Former marine and founder of advice firm YellowTail Financial Planning, Dennis Hall, is about to run his second Marathon Des Sables, the 250km run across the Sahara Desert that has been dubbed the toughest footrace on earth.
The marathon consists of different stages spread across several days, including a non-stop 8km run in which participants run through the night, and a full marathon. Hall, 62, will be running the marathon for the second time, having last run it at the age of 40. "I really enjoyed the race last time," Hall told Professional Adviser.
