FCA enforcement executive Mark Steward to depart next year

Steward, who has worked at the FCA since 2015, will leave the regulator in Spring 2023, with the search for his successor to begin shortly. Steward has been involved in some of the FCA's most high-profile enforcement cases, such as action against the former Woodford Equity Income fund. He also led the FCA's listing authority and oversight of the UK's publicly traded markets, as well as the FCA's anti-scam marketing campaign ScamSmart.
