As the cost-of-living crisis continues to take its toll on personal finances of British people there is growing concerns about retirement plans, according to recent research.
A survey from private and commercial bank Arbuthnot Latham found that one third of British people were uncertain of their retirement plans. The company surveyed 642 British people between 28 January and 5 October. Participants were asked if they were ready for retirement with questions on how they plan to spend their time, where they will live and how they will fund it. The company then looked to sort them into one of five attitudes: in control and organised; adventurous and energetic; cautiously optimistic; open to options and a bit of everything.
