Progeny acquires Lewis Brownlee Financial Services

Latest acquisition takes the firm’s AUM to nearly £7bn

Private equity-backed Progeny will expand its presence in the south of England with its latest acquisition of Chartered financial planning practice, Lewis Brownlee Financial Services.

Established in 1990, Lewis Brownlee Financial Services has offices in Chichester, Midhurst and Whiteley. Its acquisition will take Progeny's assets under management (AUM) to nearly £7bn. Lewis Brownlee Financial Services managing director Steve Burns said: "This is an exciting time for both us and our clients. "Joining Progeny will allow us to continue to flourish while remaining loyal to our founding principles and the ethics and values we have worked hard to embed in the business.
