Almost one third (29%) of advisers admit their knowledge of the Sustainability Disclosure Requirements (SDR) is poor and yet only 34% of firms are offering ESG training, according to CoreData.
Findings released by the research consultancy today (5 December) centre on adviser confusion around ESG regulations, with 35% of respondents confirming they are confused by the sheer amount of rules and requirements. On top of that, almost half (46%) of advisers say they are worried about greenwashing, with levels of confusion highest among advisers focused on mass-market clients.
