MICAP has launched an investment facilitation service which it explained it a single sign-on solution where advisers can complete online applications and track progress.
It said the service was designed to be free for advisers and their clients and removed "complex administration processes and inefficiencies". MICAP, an alternative investment research provider, said it charged investment providers a flat administration fee for each application "to minimise additional costs on the buy side". It said the service had launched with enterprise investment scheme (EIS) and seed EIS investments initially and more than 80% of investment providers had signed up.
