The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has expanded its Code of Ethics for members with the addition of a guide to “green finance”.
The body said the guide gave members an explanation of green finance, guidance about how to incorporate it into their decision-making and also outlined their "need to act as role models when it comes to sustainability". It added that while the guide is written for members, "it is intended to be used by all members of the insurance and personal finance professions".
