Just over one third (35%) of advisers have identified Consumer Duty regulation as a significant challenge for their business in the next 12 months, according to Standard Life.
The retirement and savings provider conducted a poll with 600 advisers to determine the key pressure points firms believe they will be facing over the next year. Consumer Duty ranked fifth in adviser responses behind the pressure they feel their businesses will face from market volatility, economy recovery in the UK, poor investment return prospects, and servicing existing clients.
