Female financial advisers make up just 16% of the total market

Women are to command 60% of UK wealth by 2025 yet there are only 16% of financial advisers are female, delegates heard.

Speaking at Change Fest hosted by the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment and NextGen Planners, Financial Planner Life podcast host Elena Stephenson noted that this disparity in the industry shows a significant gap. "This gap is a concern especially when we think about the different financial needs and preferences of women," she explained.
