Another autumn, another budget.

While many in team PA hit the road again for the Retirement Planning Roadshow this week, it was all going on in parliament. The abolition of the pensions lifetime allowance announced in this year's Spring Budget was confirmed to be on schedule for next April in what proved to be our most popular Autumn Statement story of the week. Chancellor Jeremy Hunt also confirmed he was getting rid of the Class 2 National Insurance (NI) for self-employed workers as well as cutting NI by two percentage points for everyone else.
