The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) plans to set up a working group for the advice industry to help identify how the Sustainability Disclosure Requirements (SDR) and labels support their role.
In its second and final consultation paper released today (28 November 2023) after being pushed back, the FCA revealed that it plans to establish an independent working group for the advice industry to help build on existing capabilities in sustainable finance, including how the SDR and labels support their role. This comes as the regulator noted that it is "aware that not all advisers feel comfortable talking to clients about sustainability".
