MWA Financial acquires Kent advice firm adding £100m in assets

First deal since the firm received PE backing from Coniston Capital

MWA Financial has acquired Kent-based IFA Knighthood Financial Advice (KFA).

This deal will see the national advice business further expand its operations across the southeast. The acquisition will add £100m assets under advice to the group and is its first deal since Coniston Capital took a minority stake in MWA Financial towards the end of 2023.  KFA was founded nine years ago by advisers and long-term colleagues David Tyler, James Richards, and Kevin Howard.
