More than half of IFAs feel negative about a potential Labour govt

Advisers favour Conservatives when it comes to their clients and business

More than half (52%) of IFAs feel negative about the prospect of a Labour government, Opinium has found.

With the next general election expected in the second half of this year, the research asked advisers whether a Labour or Conservative government would be better for issues impacting businesses and the economy. It found that IFAs think a Labour government would only be better for ensuring that workers get fair pay and conditions (48% vs 13% for Conservative), and for developing the skills of the workforce (31% vs 22% for Conservative).
