Only 2% of advisers are confident that their retirement proposition does not need to change following the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)'s thematic review of retirement income advice, Wealthtime and Copia Capital have found.
The poll of 165 financial advisers found that three quarters (75%) are reassessing their retirement approach following the FCA's review, which was introduced in January 2023. It found that almost half (48%) have already started a review, while over a quarter (27%) are planning to do so soon, and under a quarter (23%) were not sure yet if they needed to review their current strategy.
