Openwork receives minority investment from Bain Capital

Following the network’s hunt for minority investor support in 2023

Advice network The Openwork Partnership (Openwork) has received a minority investment from global private investment firm Bain Capital.

Last October, Openwork revealed at its national conference that it intended to seek a minority investor to support its growth plans. The Openwork Partners voted over 98% in favour of the proposed investment by Bain Capital on 24 October 2024. Nearly 75% of the partner shareholding voted, a record number for the advice network compared to previous partnership voting patterns.  The deal remains subject to regulatory approval and is expected to complete in H1 2025.
