A year in the world of IFAs

My first year as a journalist on IFAonline has seen an influx of emails from readers expressing their thoughts - or more often their anger - about fees, claims management companies, the FSA and many other issues affecting their business.

Part of the reason I have really enjoyed my first year is the passion IFAs have for their jobs and their willingness to share their experiences and comments with me. I’ve really gained an insight into the difficulties many IFAs face in trying to manage their day-to-day businesses, cope with the burden of regulation and meet the increasing cost of fees.
