The moment of peak uncertainty is close at hand. The Brexit vote has been hanging over the UK mid-cap market this year and there is no doubt in my mind this has led to a decrease in corporate activity. A number of deals, including potential takeovers, have been put on hold until a clearer path for the UK economy becomes apparent. Once we know the result, we are likely to see this reverse.
