As Boris Johnson picks up the keys to 10 Downing Street, Ahmer Tirmizi assesses what that means for Brexit over the coming months and the implications of the three most likely scenarios

Most investors would prefer to not think about politics. It is hard enough working out the link from economic growth, inflation and profits to asset prices - trying to figure out a further connection between asset prices and the whims of politicians makes life tougher still. Rather than trying to predict specific outcomes, then, investors and their advisers should look to prepare for a wider range of possibilities.
