Each time an investor logs on to an investment platform or an adviser conducts their portfolio analysis, the Investment Association (IA) sectors fund classification scheme is often helping them to reach a conclusion on the best fund to choose. From Monday 19 April, Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) will be part of the IA sectors for the first time.
