Labour has confirmed it plans to go ahead with plans for a British ISA, should it come to power but it has an opportunity to drastically improve it. While the British ISA aims to bolster investment in UK equities, there's a risk it could be perceived as a hasty policy move, adding layers of complexity to an already intricate ISA system.
