Adviser directory Unbiased has clarified acting promptly alone does not ensure the best response rating, in what was the latest development around its controversial response rating system.
In the website's 'frequently asked questions' section, which was recently updated, it confirmed accepting an enquiry gave advisers a higher rating than rejecting it, even when either action was carried out before the enquiry expired. The newly added text read: "You may notice that accepting an enquiry results in a slightly higher response rating than when you reject it. "This is to give consumers a clearer idea of which professionals are accepting more enquiries at the moment.
