Omnis Investments, manager of the central investment proposition for adviser network Openwork, has replaced Schroder Investment Management with Franklin Templeton to manage its UK Equity fund.
The Omnis UK Equity Fund, which has an ongoing charge of 0.69%, will be managed by Franklin Templeton portfolio manager Colin Morton (pictured), based with the UK equity team in Leeds. Morton joined Franklin Templeton when it acquired Rensburg Fund Management in January 2011. He joined Rensburg in 1988 as a private client executive, becoming an investment manager in 1991. He began his career in 1983 as a trainee stockbroker with Wise Speke & Co.
